Diesel tanker truck explodes in south Texas

ROBERTSON COUNTY - Emergency crews are working overtime to clean up after a fiery explosion involving an 18-wheeler filled with about 7,000 gallons of diesel fuel. The crash happened around 6:30 Saturday afternoon a few miles east of Franklin, which is about 30 miles north of Bryan(near College Station). (Waco TV copy)
_________
This is a diesel truck transporting fuel that exploded and caused several smaller explosions Saturday night. Diesel fuel is nearly a buck a gallon higher than unleaded and this is tragic waste in fuel.
