Top Democratic Party official in Taylor County RESIGNS

Chris Carey, of Abilene, has resigned as chairman of the Taylor County Democratic Party, according to executive committee member Lara Carlin, after accepting employment outside of Abilene. Carlin, secretary of the Taylor County Democratic Party, said a replacement to fill Carey's unexpired term will be selected by the county's executive committee, which will meet next in December._____(Abilene newspaper/Garner Roberts copy)
_______
The top Democratic Party official in Taylor County(Abilene)has resigned. Lubbock party officials like Pam Brink(D) and Chris Winn(R) could take this lead and do the same thing. Party officials in the Texas panhandle are virtually clueless on government operations, public record and townhall meetings. Democrats are actually becoming so "out-of-fashion" in Texas panhandle that the term "Ex-Democrap" is now acceptable at cocktail parties and on blogs.
